The UHRIG Group can look back on over 60 years of company history. Since its foundation in 1963, UHRIG has continued to develop. Today, we rely on several pioneering technologies that we have developed ourselves from our core business, civil engineering.
Anna and Helmut Uhrig founded UHRIG in 1963. That was the beginning. Today, the company is still run as a family business in the third generation and is a group comprising a total of six companies.
The recipe for success is flexibility and future-oriented thinking. We build large sewers, we manage and renovate them. Now we are also generating green heating energy from them. The development of new and innovative technologies will continue to accompany us.
Our employees are the foundation of our success. With their great commitment and identification, they almost always make the impossible possible. They are the core of the UHRIG brand.
It is in our DNA to want to constantly develop ourselves further. Our aim is to set new standards, both technically and economically. The topics of environmental protection and sustainability play a central role here.
This remains our core concern in every single project that we implement. In future, we want to place climate protection even more strongly at the center of all activities. We want to further internationalize UHRIG, also beyond Europe.
We are venturing further into the energy sector. By generating energy from wastewater, we aim to do nothing less than revolutionize the heat market and thus play an active role in shaping climate protection.

Our commitment
Environmental and climate protection are our core concerns – both inside and outside the company. We come into contact with water as a resource on a daily basis. We are aware of our responsibility and are proud to be able to make a particularly innovative contribution to the energy transition by generating heat from wastewater.
We are also active in our home region. With the construction of the Arena Geisingen, we have given inline sports a home in southern Germany. As a family business, we are also wholeheartedly committed to children, for example through Plan International.
