The UHRIG Group was founded 60 years ago. We started out as civil engineers, specializing in heavy sewer construction. Today, we can also control and repair sewers and recover energy from them to heat buildings in a climate-friendly way.

Energy from Wastewater
Wastewater contains huge amounts of residual energy that is lost unused every day. We harness energy for the energy transition.
With the Therm-Liner system, energy from wastewater can be used to heat buildings in a climate-friendly way.
Sewer construction
Saving time, money and resources has always been our specialty in UHRIG’s core business, sewer construction.
The “UHRIG system” comprises numerous patented processes with which we have been shaping and improving sewer construction in Germany for years.
Sewer renovation
Sewer renovation without time-consuming digging and uncovering of sewers. This is what we specialize in.
With the Quick-Lock system, we offer a self-developed, patented product that is now in use worldwide, helping us to protect the environment and conserve resources.
Plate compactor
Excavation, backfilling and compaction with just one tool. Sophisticated and cleverly designed, we increase efficiency and safety on construction sites.
This means that compaction work can be carried out directly on site at any time in a cost-optimized and unmanned manner.
Intelligent sewer networks
The wastewater infrastructure must also become smarter and more digital in order to be operated efficiently and in a way that conserves resources.
We offer control technology that we develop ourselves and are now successfully in use worldwide.
Special Solutions
No can do, no can do. Along the wastewater infrastructure, there are often requirements that demand special solutions and thinking outside the box.
This is precisely our specialty at UHRIG. We can plan and build individual solutions completely ourselves.

Originally a regional company, we have built up an excellent reputation as a sewer contractor throughout Germany. Over the decades, new business areas have been added that were developed from the core business. Today, we hold numerous patents and attach great importance to research and development work.
Environment, climate protection and sustainability
We have been dealing with water as a resource on a daily basis for 60 years. This gives rise to a special responsibility that we are aware of. We want to contribute to the careful and environmentally conscious use of water.
We have also developed a new business area in the form of energy generation from waste water, with which we can revolutionize the heating market. We make energy usable that has so far gone unused: the energy in our wastewater. The water cycle can thus provide additional benefits for the energy transition. As a company, we want to make a difference, both nationally and internationally.
Of course, we have also set ourselves climate protection targets within the Group. This includes converting our vehicle fleet to e-mobility, working completely paperless by 2025 and offering internal bonuses for the lowest energy consumption on our construction sites. We don’t just believe in climate protection. We want to play an active role in shaping it.
